SA Strategic Agent Grounded on your own records
Who it is for · A household

Ask a plain question about your own paperwork —
and know what it will never read

The house policy and its schedule, the furnace warranty, the tax returns, the tenant's letters, ten years of scans from a printer that no longer works. A household carries as much paper as a small business and nobody whose job it is to file it. Strategic Agent reads the ordinary paperwork and quotes it back. Four kinds of document it never opens at all.

A household is where this product's strictest rule was written, on the founder's own paper. It quotes the policy schedule, the warranty and the return, with the document named. It says when the record does not carry the answer. And it never opens the four kinds of file named on this page, by construction rather than by promise.

Saturday, with water in the basement

your day

The sump quit overnight and there is an inch of water on the basement floor. The first question is whether sewer backup is on the house policy, and the policy is a PDF the broker emailed three renewals ago. The furnace is nine years old and the technician wants to know whether it was registered for the extended warranty. The accountant's email is still open, asking what you claimed for the home office last year. And the tenant in the condo you rent out has asked about renewal, and you cannot find what your last letter said.

The documents are the ones every household has and nobody has filed. The policy schedule — the page that lists the endorsements, not the fifty pages of wording. The warranty registration for the furnace and the installer's receipt. The tax return and the Notice of Assessment, year by year. The property tax notice. The lease on the condo and the letters around it. And the scans folder: ten years of receipts, letters and statements fed through a printer-scanner and named by the date the scanner chose.

The questions are plain. Is sewer backup on the policy? Did the furnace get its extended warranty? What did I claim for the home office in 2022? What did I tell the tenant about renewal? You have answered every one before, and the answer is in a file you own. What you do not have is an hour on a Saturday to open forty PDFs to find which one.

What you ask, and what comes back

a line, not a sentence

Strategic Agent reads the ordinary paperwork and answers with a line out of a document, not a sentence about it — at most three verbatim lines, at most two citations, each with the file named and the lines given. You open the file and see the same words. The shape of it:

You askIt returns
"Is sewer backup on the house policy?" the policy schedule · "Sewer backup endorsement — included", with the schedule's file name and line.
"Did the furnace get the extended parts warranty?" the warranty registration · "Extended parts warranty — registered", and the installer's receipt as the second citation.
"What did I claim for the home office in 2022?" the 2022 return · the line that carries "Business-use-of-home expenses", the amount exactly as filed.
"What was my blood pressure at the last physical?" Nothing. Not a refusal — the file was never opened. Medical records are excluded before anything is read.

The last row is different in kind from an abstention. When the record does not carry an answer, it says so: "Your records don't contain enough to answer that with confidence." When the record is one of the four excluded kinds, there is nothing to search, because the file was never read, never hashed, and never entered any table.

The four kinds of file it never reads

the exclusion rule

This is the plainest rule on the site and it is stated in full. Four kinds of document are never ingested, whatever folder they are found in:

"Never ingested" means what it says. The file is not opened. It is not hashed. It does not appear in any table or index. The rule is applied to the file before it is read, and it is enforced where a file enters, not where a question is answered — so it does not depend on the engine's judgement on the day, and no later change to the engine can reach a file that was never let in. Content that was never ingested cannot be retrieved by anyone.

Where the line falls: a lease, a policy and a warranty are ordinary paperwork — you are one party to a standard form — and they are read. A legal agreement, in this rule, is the signed instrument about your personal affairs, and those are never opened. Ask what the lease says about notice and it quotes the lease. Ask anything that would need the separation agreement and there is nothing there to ask.

A decade of scans, honestly

what reads today

A scanned PDF with a text layer reads today. A scanned image is read by OCR that runs on the machine itself; in the founder's own archive that has been run over 35,633 pages with nothing sent out. But a photograph of a receipt taken on a phone is catalogued, kept and reported as unread — photographed documents are not searchable yet, and the queue of scans waiting to be read has not been worked through. Every file that was not read is listed with the reason. Nothing is skipped in silence.

What it will not do for you

the honesty clause

It does not advise on the claim, file the return or move money. It does not decide anything: it proposes an answer with the document beside it, and you accept or hold it. It has no opinion about your life, only your documents. It runs on your own computer, the model that reads your text runs there too, and it refuses to start a component that would send your files to anyone. Your paperwork is looked up and quoted; it is never used to build anything for anyone else.

What is not finished, for a household

Photographed documents are not searchable. The refusal was measured once across three proving corpora, one of them the founder's own household records, and it answered 45 questions it should have declined. That result and the work on it are on the record. No household but the founder's has run this yet, and this site will say so until that changes.
